Pastor Jim Haligas

Senior Pastor

Robert James “Jim” Haligas was born and raised in Michigan, and he was saved in a Billy Graham Crusade. He taught grade school in Glen Ellyn for over 20 years, and started sharing group for his students in the 1960s which later transitioned into Tracker’s Ministries in the 1970s. Ordained by Pastor Van Gale of Praise Fellowship Church in 1981, he went into full-time ministry by starting Believers’ Prayer Fellowship Church shortly after.

Pastor Craig Williams

Assistant Pastor

Craig Williams has been involved in Jim Haligas’ ministry since he was in sixth grade. He came to faith in Christ through Jim’s ministry to students. Later, after returning from college, Craig was involved in beginning the original non-profit organization, Trackers’ Ministries, which led to the formation of Believers’ Prayer Fellowship Church in 1982. Craig has been involved with the church since its earliest services at the former American Legion building in south Glen Ellyn. He served as an usher, volunteer at local retirement homes, and member of the worship team. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Board of Directors.

He met his wife, Barb, through the church, and they have two children, Chris and Elizabeth. Craig has served as an Information Technology director, CIO, and consultant in the architectural and education fields.
